I forgot to note that Macros can be quickly inputted into the body of an Encounter Notes by typing the name of the macro, then hitting CTRL+Enter on your keyboard.
This can be done with a macro. You can create a macro in Tools > Template Wizard > Macros. The tag <MHXMEDICATIONS> will load the Active Medications for the loaded patient, when the macro is applied within an encounter note.
You can read more about how to create and use macros here, in the Accuro User Guide.
If you would like assistance with these workflows, please contact the Service Desk at 1-866-729-8889; a Client Services Analyst would be happy to help you.
