Adding the ability to have 'quantity' displayed on the printed prescription for non-drug compounds

Currently, even if a quantity is selected when writing the prescription, it is not displayed on the printed prescription. So, for a nutritional supplement for example like Boost, the prescription can be written for one box, but when the prescription is printed, that information is not there.

    Hello,

When I create a compound medication, the Quantity selected displays as expected. I am not able to find a software change where this may have been altered.

My workflow (and I tried creating meds from the EMR and Medications tab, and from existing favorites): <New Compound Prescription> > Compound Tab: Specify compound details > Prescription tab: Pill icon, choose medication form > Specify quantity and other parameters > <OK>

I tried this with drug and non-drug compounds, to be thorough.

If you are still experiencing issues with this workflow, please contact the service desk at 1-866-729-8889; a Client Services Analyst would be happy to help you.
