Unfortunately with the current functionality of Accuro you would have to manually add flags (can be done through F7) to your patients on the Waitlist. I do understand the desire for this to be automatic though.

Thanks for getting back to me. The issue is if we receive a 2nd referral -
which is happening due to the long wait time with COVID19 - I search the
patient and there is a chart not unusual and proceed to add the patient to
the wait list not until I have entered all the information and attempt to
add am I notified that a waitlist entry already exists so if there could be
an indicator on the demographic bar or a flag notification either would
work fine.

Although there is no automatic flag indicating that a patient is on the Waitlist, you can always tap F4 and look in the Watilist tab to view a patient's status on the Waitlist.
It would be nice to have an indicator on the Demographics Status Bar for users to know this waitlist information is available for any patient when they are selected.
