From the Virtual Chart, you can right click a document and modify the document date, type, provider or patient if it was filed in error.
When modifying the document provider you have the option to send the document to the provider's inbox. However, the notification is not sent if you do not change the document provider. You must change the document to a different provider, then back to the initial provider in order for the notification to appear in the provider's inbox for review. This process could be made easier.
