generate generic letter

I would like to be able to generate a generic letter that does not require a recipient. As it is now, I have to enter a bogus recipient in order to generate a "To whom it may concern letter", even though I have it set up as an "Introduction". It will allow me to save it, but not print it out. It always tells me I need a recipient. So, I end up entering a bogus one and then the "introduction" covers up the recipient and then allows me to print it. Seems a little redundant and double doing something. Why can we not just print off a generic To Whom it May concern or letter to patient using the introduction as the recipient?
