Schedule groups (try again)

I had entered a similarly titled entry before, but the 'completed' resolution did not work: Original ------------ In the scheduler you can select which columns you want to see, but the really helpful function would be the ability to save a set of columns as a "group", and then to later recall it. One could then set up 'groups' to show: physicans, residents, IHPs, RNs, teams etc., whatever you want. by: Chris B. | 5 months ago | Scheduling -------------- This got a "Completed" with the message below. HOWEVER, the request is NOT closed as the solution of defining a provider "group" does not work with resource scheduling. And of course resource scheduling is needed in Ontario with Family Health Teams because you need the flexibility in specifying who the billing provider is. So we still have the problem and still need to be able to define subsets of columns. For us we have about 60 columns, and at 1" (screen) per column that is 5 foot of schedule to scroll through. Now a 60" monitor with a screen resolution of 6400 pixels (width) would be a great alternative, but they are hard to come by; plus, we don't have the desk space. I suppose a wrap-around holographic display, as see in Avatar, would be fine too. Original completed message ------------- You can create Groups of Providers and view the Scheduler/Claims screen by Group. To create Provider groups, go to Tools Menu: Providers (or F2 shortcut). Select a Provider and click Configure. On the first screen, click the green plus sign under the Groups box. Click "Manage" and create the names of the different groups you would like. To assign a Provider to a group, click the green plus sign under the Groups box and select which group you would like the Provider added to. You will need to log out and back in again, but you will then see your Groups listed in the dropdown on the right hand side of your Scheduler. by: Administrator | 17 days ago
