Released in Accuro build 2017.01.849
No Start Date, Prescription Dosage Window
A “No Start Date” checkbox has been added to the Prescription Dosage window. The default start date for prescriptions is today unless this checkbox is selected.
ePrescribe users are asked if they would like to have "Accuro continue to default the start date to today's date?". This question is only asked once and must be answered before a medication dosage can be added.
Note: ePrescribe is being piloted in Alberta, Manitoba, and Ontario.
Seems this was added already.
Prefer Start Date populate, but have the ability to delete or change the date.
I would like to see the start date something the doctor can physically type in as part of the instructions, as we would on any written prescription. As a free text. Having to check a box each time would be annoying unless you want to check a box that says “start date” and then you put in the day manually.
For those of you that voted or have an interest in QHR Technologies Inc. making this change, we'd like to get some feedback as to how you could see this working.
Also agree this is a very important and needed additional functionality. Cannot include jeopardizes, potentially significantly, extent to which prescription is interpreted accurately.
Agree with Arthur. This should only be something we free-hand in under a special instructions options
Agree. This needs to be addressed ASAP. Getting a lot of phone calls from patients not sure when to start their prophylactic prescriptions.
