Hello,
Users have the ability to import dictionaries of their choosing to Accuro (that have been downloaded from the internet), as well as to add one-off words. You can also search for and manage existing words.
Accuro Menu > Search: Update Dictionary > Select
The "Manage Dictionary" window will pop-up.
Options:
You can search for and select a word, and choose the pencil icon to edit the spelling if required.
You can click the green <+> to add an individual word to your dictionary.
You can click the <Import File> button, and retrieve a text (.txt or .dic) file from your workstation. Once imported successfully, you'll receive a "Dictionary imported successfully" pop-up.
Additionally, when typing a note, if a word becomes underlined in red, you can right-click it and choose "Add word to word list" from the menu. This will add it to your dictionary.
If you would like to review or require assistance with these workflows, please contact the service desk at 1-866-729-8889; a Client Services Analyst would be happy to help you.
and it would be even better if Accuro recognized medical words!
