Medications and Generated Letters - This is the worst part of the EMR Letter Generation

When pulling in medications to a generated letter, Accuro does note provide enough customization to the point where it is difficult for the medication list to be accurate in a consult letter or note. We need to be able to have the medication name, dose (flexible), route and frequency in our consult letters. Examples: Current Accuro: APO-METOPROLOL 100 MG TABLET, LYRICA 150 MG CAPSULE; What it should say is: APO-METOPROLOL 100 MG PO BID, LYRICA 150 MG PO BID prn. This is an extremely important part of an EMR and patient safety / communication issue.
