Easy Access for GENERAL NOTE / Appointment BOOKING NOTE entry in the TASKS window.

Receptionist need to keep organized with patient communications and frequently make use of the Patient Note section for this purpose. The Patient Note tab is squirrelled away in the Patients section and the plain note entry panel must be used to add a general note for future reference. This is such a frequent receptionist workflow that shortcut access like Accuro provides for Tasks and Messages seems like a natural for quicker and smoother General Note / Appointment Booking Note entry. Interestingly, very useful "General Note", "No Answer" and "Message Left" timestamped note shortcuts are found only when viewing existing Messages and Tasks which must be "Sent" and "Received" before these tools are visible and only in the HOME section. This doesn't seem like a workflow that would work for a receptionist needing to make quick notes on a received or placed phone call. Perhaps tweaking the MESSAGES function so that a recipient is not required and either add a drop down menu for Standard Note Subject headings or put the "General Note", "No Answer" and "Message Left" timestamped note shortcuts in the window for use as Subject entries. (i.e. Subject: Message Left @ 14:30 2013-Jul-20 Note: Called (***) ***-**** and left message to contact the office).
