document view & filing into EMR

It would be nice to have the functionality to be able to custom or create a field or have at least appt history as when patient was last see that would show last appointment date and which Dr. Many times the doctors share patients so when reports come they may not have the correct provider on there as we send to the provider that last saw, In order for me to obtain that info I have to leave the document section & view the appointment History then go back to the document section and select and send to provider, A few less steps would be valuable time asset.
