Ability to save a draft message/task

Often we're not able to finish a response before something else comes up. The ability to save a draft of that task or message would help us pick up where we left off and to be sure nothing important is missed in that message instead of minimizing the screen which creates clutter on the desktop. We are located in hospital so our communication lies solely through messages and tasks, when we respond to the physician we have to be sure what we said is clear and complete.
