Add the ability to query prescriptions based on the generic medication that they fall under. You are unable to prescribe generic medications in the EMR, and the Query already allows you to search for the generic medication, but it does not link the fact that the manufactured medication is part of the generic group. Searching for a generic medication in the query builder will produce no results. The linking appears to exist, as you can double click on the Generic medication while creating a prescription and view the list of manufactured products and formulations that it includes. Also, classifications work in this way, I could run a query on a specific classification such as a beta blocker, and receive a list of all manufactured products or formulations that were prescribed. It would be nice if you could build a query looking for all patient's prescribed a certain medication regardless of the formulation or manufactured brand, and not have to add each option one by one to the query builder.
