QHR Product Ideas

While IdeaSpace is great for sharing ideas for new features/changes, the number of posts is becoming overwhelming. A good percentage of these posts are actually invalid ideas, generated from users who are either using the feature incorrectly, or do not realize the feature they are requesting already exists. Perhaps it would be a good idea, instead of letting IdeaSpace be open to any Accuro user, to limit it to key individuals from each clinic (ie. System Administrators or Power Users). This is what our clinic does. If one of my staff comes to me with a question like "how can I do this in Accuro?" or "can we do this in Accuro?", and I discover it isn't possible, then I will post to IdeaSpace. However, often it's a case of my users simply not being aware of functionality or using the feature incorrectly. IdeaSpace ideas should be vetted by a power user before being posted, so that we can limit the number of posts to only valid ideas. I think it's important that we all spend the time to read through posted ideas, and vote, as this is how ideas are chosen for implementation, but this process is becoming too time consuming with so many invalid ideas being posted.
