Prescription Modification

We have been looking for a way to modify the Sig, without writing a new prescription, for medication changes, like temporarily increasing furosemide. On our version at least, the "Comments" box does not print to the prescripiton. Could this be left writable as long as the prescription remains in active medications? This would allow changes to medication to show on the medications tab if you unhide the Comments section.

if you go into medication tab and right click on the medication you can edit sig.  New rx shows it is just a change in sig.  Shows old and new sig.

This would be incredibly useful. It would also be useful to have an area on the Rx - that you can type a message to the pharmacist that shows up in the EMR and on the Rx. Right now the comments section shows up on the EMR but not he Rx and the Pharamcy note shows up on the Rx but not EMR. Further, being able to enter a comment after the RX has been issued (and not having to re write) would be helpful. For isntance, if a patient goes to EOD dosing verus daily  - you could write that versus restarting their Rx with a new start date etc.
