would be great if users other than the physician could see that new lab results are available. Only the physician has this option of the quick link found at the bottom left of the screen, where new mail, tasks, and the faxes can be seen.

a quick link to know new lab results are in would be great for other users, not just the physician. I often am waiting on results to send with imaging, and now that they go directly in the patients chart, rather than be faxed to us, I have to remember who's results we are waiting for. There is a quick link for mail, tasks, faxes on the bottom left of teh screen, and the physcian also has a lab and document link there. Other users in a clinic would benefit from this quick link.
