Notify pharmacy when prescription is discontinued

Discontinuing medications and communicating this to pharmacies at the time they were discontinued is an important step in maintaining correct medication profiles. I would suggest adding a feature that allows the prescriber to also include medications that have been discontinued that day on the prescription going to the pharmacy, nursing home, etc. ie) a prescription would show 2 meds that have been renewed and one that has been discontinued. Keeping our med lists up to date and having better communication with our partners increases the safety of our patients in the community.

    A feature to address this idea is currently scheduled for the 2016.02 iteration of Accuro. Should QHR Technologies be required to reschedule the feature, an additional comment will be added to advise of the new schedule.

    Upon release, the Idea will be moved to the Completed tab and QHR Technologies will provide further detail on the implemented solution.
