Requisition Date to populate as current date when

Requisition Date to populate as current date when opening as new and NOT clearing the form

Customers noted that when they open an existing form on a patients chart as new and do NOT clear the form, the Requisition Date at the top of this window remains the date the form was originally saved to the patients chart. Customers would like this Requisition Date to populate as the current date, as they are wanting to re-order the same tests again, but for the day that they are opening as new.

Seems like a simple and logical idea yet 2+ years after the original post and this problem has yet to be addressed or fixed. In what case would one want the original date if selecting "Open from New" without clearing form? If one did then you could just go to Virtual Chart and print out original requisition. PLEASE UPDATE!
