QHR Product Ideas

Right now templates are invisible from a data management perspective. We can't search or export them using the query builder, and this has been a problem in several initiatives. Templates should be type of data under "Appointments", or a parameter to an appointment. When analysing clinical activities based on the schedule any periods described only by templates become invisible black-out areas that spoil an analysis. It would be great to to be able to check a box in the query to say "Include template zones" or whatever which would then make templated periods appear in the export list with another column containing information about the template. Appointment Date Appointment Provider Appointment Time Length Template 2015-01-09 Dr Jones 12:00 60 2015-01-09 Dr Jones 13:00 180 Supervise residents 2015-01-09 Dr Jones 16:00 15 ...... Yes, we could always make an explicit booking, but if we have to do this why have templates in the first place?
