immunizations

There should be an easier way to enter vaccines given off-site (at school, pharmacy or Health Unit) - Currently we have to falsify information - providing a product name and making up a lot # and expiry date - It should be possible to choose off-site and enter only a date given In addition it would be good to be able to document vaccine refusal within the immunization program - eg flu shot offered and declined with date entry

    Admin response

A feature to address this idea is currently scheduled for the 2016.02 iteration of Accuro. Should QHR Technologies be required to reschedule the feature, an additional comment will be added to advise of the new schedule.

Upon release, the Idea will be moved to the Completed tab and QHR Technologies will provide further detail on the implemented solution.

I believe this can be arranged at the initial Accuro EMR set up and maybe later by calling Accuro Help - I am able to put in external vaccines without falsifying information. It does pick up the batch numbers and expiry dates of the vaccines available in the clinic and I have to delete this which is bit of extra work.

QHR has delayed the release of immunization changes.  This idea will be updated with the new iteration number once it becomes available.
