Slow EMR

Please fix the speed at which Accuro runs and optimize its use of memory on my computer. I keep running into problems with the slowness of Accuro in various areas: - Lag within lists makes me mis-select all the time (examples virtual chart entries, entries within EMR, Medications, even the drop down lists on R-click. - ALT-EMR, while great to help work on 2 different parts of the patient chart simultaneously slows down the program running on my computer. I can only typically perform Alt-EMR on 10 patients per login session before I have to reboot for slowness and loss of function. - when Accuro.exe runs at 600-700MB I start having unacceptable lags in loading visit notes. If I then write on the note and save it it adds to the memory the program consumes and slows me down even more. Typically I can only save about 15-20 entries within the EMR section before having to reboot Accuro. - Under Home>Labs every lab that I review takes too long to save and load the next, and adds to the memory consumed. Only 15 Labs reviewed will get me to unacceptable lag and 700MB usage. I am running 8GB RAM, hardwired into the server in our clinic. The slowness causes mistakes in patient care with mis-selection. It also greatly impairs my ability to get through my daily workload. Compared with my previous EMR I need to spend 2 hours more per day to get my work done (computer speed issues and other inefficiencies), and that is really unacceptable.

It takes an average of 2-5 minutes for the EMR to load which is frustrating. Crashes all the time which is great fun when I'm trying to power through walk in clinic. Why can't we have a built in app on our computers instead of gaving to download a temporary platform every single time?

similar issues, cloud servers need more bandwidth and responsiveness but they don't seem to care.

Here we are in 2021 and still laggy, slow, starts to crash within an hour. Maybe figure out a better way to access it so it doesn't suck the energy right out of my computer - other EMRs do not have this issue.

our clinic is also noticing great lag times in moving from chart to chart, uploading documents etc

this is January 2017 - issue does not appear to be complete
