An alert for patients who have not been seen in a given period of time can be achieved using the "Include in Tasks" feature in the Query Builder (Alerts) tool. "Include in Tasks" will run on every patient load to determine whether they match the criteria set out in your Alert Definition, and add an Alert to the Patient Tasks section for that patient. The Alert can be identified by a red ! icon before the patient name in the demographics status bar, and can also be found with the shortcut F7.
To create this alert, navigate to the "Query Builder (Alerts)" tool in the Reports section of the Accuro menu. Create a new Alert Definition with the parameters you want to use (e.g. patients who have not had an appointment in the last 1 year). Click the Configuration icon (gears) and enable the "Include in Tasks" checkbox. Fill the "Warning" field with the message that you would like to be displayed in the Alert for each patient who matches the criteria.
Note: For larger databases, it is recommended to run the query, assign a patient flag through the available actions in the Query Builder results, and then manually delete the patient flag once the action is complete.
