PS Suite EMR häs something like this and it's amazing for when you are on vacation or have a locum. All labs and documents automatically show up in the inbox of the person who is covering. I really miss this feature.
Yes, it would be nice to be able to automatically forward labs/documents...yet to be able to still leave a copy for the ordering physician to see upon their return from vacation. One of our physicians has previously had this feature on an older EMR...
