Notifications in the sidebar

In the right hand side where you can type in the patients name and see their next appointment, there should be notifications for what kind of appointments the patient has had or has been coming for in the past. These should also be able to come up biweekly, monthly, bianually, or for whatever kind of time period you prefer. For instance, if a patient has an annual health checkup today (August 3, 2016), there should be options when dealing with the pt's EMR notes or in the patient information part where the doctor or administrative assistants can add in options for what kind of appointment, and how often it the patient needs it. These would be on the right hand side where it shows the patient's previous appointment and come up as often as the time period specifies (for instance, the next annual checkup for this patient would be August 3, 2017) and it would be nice if this could show up along with previous and next appointments. Being able to colour code these the way we colour code appointments would be great. This would also be nice for recurring appointments as we would not need to go through the patients EMR notes to find out the last time they had a certain type of appointment.

    Hi,

You don't need to look through a patient's EMR notes to figure out the last time they had a certain appointment.  From Anywhere in the EMR (including the Scheduler) you can press F4 to see a patient's entire appointment history.
