There is a column you can select called "Created Date", which shows when the task was created, and you can sort tasks based on this date.
With the "Assigned Date" you would be able to see quickly how long it has been since the task was assigned if you are waiting for test results or procedures. That would be beneficial in quickly picking up if something was overlooked or the patient hadn't followed through for some reason.
