The "very urgent" pop up tends to be more of a jump scare - it lands right in the middle of the screen and hijacks control, usually at an in inopportune moment. I appreciate that my coworkers have an urgent for me, but it assumes that I am not busy at the moment. Bad assumption, as it turns out. If it could pop up in a lower corner instead OR if a little alert that flashes at the top somehow, just to alert the user that yes, someone has something for you to do, but allows you to click in so you can see if it really needs to be done now or if it can be ignored safely for a few minutes while you complete the tasks you are in the middle of completing?
