It would be helpful in creating a list of favourites for drugs I don't prescribe but which I frequently want to add to the EXT Prescriptions list of a patient. There are 10-20 drugs patients are often on which I don't prescribe, but if they were in a FAVOURITES list of external meds, it would save a lot of time when new patients come in and I am adding all their ext. meds to their CPP bands in Encounter Notes.
we used to be able to save a few favourites in the external meds, I see an idea re MOA's putting meds in ahead of time, this is very time consuming having to wade thru a long list to find ie Vit d3 1000 iu tablet,- indeed you have to find cholecalciferol etc, you should be able to save some favourites. B12 etc I have a scribe in the room with me doing notes and it takes forever for them to find things and when they do it ends up going into the active prescription list THIS IS WRONG, MY STAFF SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO PUT MEDS INTO MY PRESCRIPTION LIST, also they are unable to properly add things to the ext med list, it used to work fine and I was unaware that this had changed a couple of years ago and no longer works,
