When reviewing documents/labs in Accuro, it would be helpful to be able to have a short-key (ex CTRL + G) or an icon on the status bar that would allow the user to access Global Messaging.
Most of our office physicians set reminders to themselves when documents require some type of action, or we wish to set a reminder about the document. Many times, these items do not warrant a call-back and we wish to be prompted at the time of a patient's next visit.
At present, one needs to exit the document or lab module, go to the patient module, set the reminder, and then to back into documents/labs.
Our former EMR had this feature and is was quite heavily utilized.
As indicated in the comment below, Global Messages can be created from anywhere using F7.
