Issue: Patient will contact the office and requests to schedule multiple appointments at once. This process is cumbersome.
Example: “I would like to schedule 4 appointments”
Current procedure: Patient information needs to be looked up, checked for coverage then scheduled as per patient request. This needs to be done INDIVIDUALLY.
Proposed change: Having to do this individually for each patient is time consuming and increases the margin for error. This is especially tedious when patient demographics need to be changed.
Thank you for this idea. I understand your issue at hand but I am unclear on how this can be made more efficient for you.
Since all 4 appointments need to be in different time slots, would the ability to add many dates and times to a single Appointment Details window help?
There is the option for Recurring Appointments if the 4 visits are going to be at consistent intervals.
Or perhaps you are looking for a more efficient way to check their coverage? Additional details about how this is done now would help too.
