To not jump fields after a date error

When a date error is made in documents file transfer, why doesn't the cursor return to the field where the error was made instead of jumping ahead to another filed?

    What screen in Accuro is the date error being made in?

    What are your current steps to get the error, and then what are the steps to correct it?
