Alert/Reminders in Accuro

We would like the option for Accuro to send us an Alert/Reminder when a patient is due for a procedure

We are aware of the future dated tasks option, but we would like Accuro to remind us

I called helpdesk and I discovered that with a query you can do many things.

Once you create a query and run a report, on the bottom of the report in the drop down menu of "select action" you can choose to task all the patients within the query, add flags to the patient charts, send emails to the patients, create forms or chart notes within the charts and you can even add billing codes.

If you are creating a task and want to send it to the assigned doctor then within the query, be sure to add a rule of only searching for patients of that particular doctor.

    I hope this helps!

You can use dynamic alerts to accomplish this.  Also, you need to make sure that all users who need the reminder need to have "alerts" turned on in their User Preferences.  It works well!  If you don't know how to create a dynamic alert, I suggest calling the helpdesk.  You need to think about your criteria for identifying the patients.
