Currently, in a multi-physician office, when querying OLIS, the list of physicians is displayed in a pull-down menu, in alphabetical order. This causes physicians to inadvertently query OLIS under another physician's name. There are no circumstances under which this should happen, so please default OLIS to the provider performing the query.
We also have this problem in our office - but to take it a step further our OLIS query also pulls in non-physician staff who have no CPSO number associated with them. We have had several instance where this happens and then we have to deal with emails from the Privacy Commissioner. We should be able to have this default to either the family physician or the name of the physician performing the search.
