It would be extremely useful to have the ability in Demographics to have a PHN that is set by insurer, for situations such as the following:
An Out of Province patient that also needs to be seen by WCB.
In this example, for Governmental billings, they must use their valid, out of province PHN; but then to submit the WCB billings, they need to use a generic out of province PHN that WCB provides. As WCB forms pull PHN's from the Demographics, and so do all ministry claims, this means that one must create, submit, and reconcile any out of province WCB and out of province ministry claims entirely separately, while using a note to record both PHN's, and updating it manually.
This is both time consuming and inefficient for these types of scenarios.
The suggested solution would be something similar to:
Be able to set a PHN based on Insurer, that when creating claims for that type of insurer, any claims or forms etc associated to that insurer would pull the PHN associated to it, instead of a generic patient PHN that may not be applicable.
