Documents moved from one provider's inbox to another providers inbox should automatically appear UNREAD

In an office with many doctors, sometimes front staff will file a document into the wrong inbox. The first doctor to view the document sees that its someone else's patient and moves the document to the other doctor's inbox. She first needs to mark it as unread. If she forgets to mark it as unread, it goes into the other doctor's inbox looking read. This is a patient safety issue. The second doctor may have a full inbox of read documents and will not realize that something new is in there. When a document is moved from one doctor's inbox to another doctor's inbox, it should automatically be marked as 'unread' so that the second doctor realizes that something new is in their inbox!

    Agree.
This is a patient safety issue.
An EMR that requires too much manual intervention for routine tasks loses its usefulness.
