When you enter a new patient in Accuro from the F6 button, all the fields are there except for the ability to check the patient care card number. This would be incredibly helpful as you have to fill in all the details based on the referral you received from the referring doctor. However, more often then not,  the names given on the referral do not match what is on the care card. As of now, you have to enter all the details as per the referral  then go into the patients tab and check the care card and then make the changes necessary. Its just one extra step that takes away from your efficiency. If you get busy and forget to take the extra step by going into the patients tab then you don't find out till you submit billing and then have to go back and make all these changes especially if you have sent out reports to that patients doctors.
