expanding "hot buttons" to target labs and reports in the VC not covered by standard definitions.

Whether this is feasible or not, I am not sure. Our staff enjoys using the configurable  hot button feature to access often used forms  right now. However, I would love it to be more powerful in being able to access labs and reports that have been scanned in or have come in from the links to the hospital.  For example,  often CT scans and  tracings for  breathing tests are often looked for in this office, but it takes clicks and searches to  find the most recent or even  the top few for comparison, and it means time waiting and interruption of work flow.  If there was a hot button that could grab the last (or a selection of the last few) studies automatically, it could skim valuable  time off a busy office looking for these results.
