Easier way to find start date of medication

I would like an easier way to find the start date for a medication as with every renewal, the old prescriptions move to the history sections which may leave a patient with hundreds of entries here. I can find out when I last gave them the medication easily but currently it is cumbersome to find out when it was first given to the patient without having to scroll through hundreds of historical entries. Even being able to sort historical prescriptions by name would be helpful. Most other EMRs allow users to right click a medication and find out basic information including initial start date which is often vital information. I asked this question to QHR support to no avail.

    Hello,

    1. There is a renewal history tab within the Medication itself: Medications > Double-click to open the medication > Navigate to the Other tab > Navigate to the Renew History tab (see renewhistory.png attached)

    2. When prescriptions have been renewed, their history is connected to the most recent renewal, but it is hidden by default. In the EMR > Medication tab, beside the medication name, you'll see a little plus sign; if you click on that, it will expand the history of just that medication for the patient. (see medhis_plus.png and medhis_expand.png attached)

    3. You can run the Prescription Summary report from the Medications tab, which can be filtered to a specific medication and status(es).
      EMR > Medications > <Prescription Summary> > Select: Included Medication and Included Statuses > <Run> (see prescriptionsummary1.png and prescriptionsummary2.png attached)

    I hope this helps!
