It would be great to be able to type onto an incoming faxed/scanned document. For example, A referring clinic requests confirmation of receipt of referral or document, rather then printing document or sending with fax cover page, if you could mark the document without printing it would expedite work load and additional paper being used to respond.
From the Documents section when viewing incoming faxes, or the Home section when the provider is reviewing documents and even from the Virtual Chart there is an option to Annotate all documents.
When you select Annotate on any document in Accuro you have the ability to type onto the document with a text field, add a signature or highlight a portion of the document.
Hi Amber,
Regarding the issue of modifying a faxed document, you can Annotate the document in the Home Module in the Documents folder for the Provider. Then you can apply the text field right on to the document and proceed to fax the modified document to the selected recipient.
Thank you.
