Choose who reconciles in Document section

It would be very helpful to the Doctors if the person filing could reconcile the test results that are sent to provider in the document section. As it stands the Doctor has to view documents that are sent to provider and check reconcile every time they review a test result , it is an unnecessary step that is better suited for the person who is filing documents ( and doctors are not doing it, so tests never get reconciled and pile up in the outstanding requisitions, referrals and orders  . Because of this it adds to the amount of work generated to clean up and reconcile.

Correct (sort of) on the idea #2 posted by Lauren is that when either a test is selected as file document or send to provider, the person doing the original filing from the document tab reconciles the tests and results. Therefor removing the task of reconcilling from the physician completely upon reviewing. The physicians do not have time/ or patience to select the reconcilition everytime they review a document. Most often the ignore button is selected, thus never being reconciled. As a reception staff , I maintain the oustanding requisitions, referrals and orders. If the physician is not reconciling it, it lowers the efficiency of using the module to track tests. Which is unfortunate as it is an excellent tracking system to make sure patient are getting the tests done that were ordered .

Outstanding Requisitions are reconciled when any Document with the type of Lab is reviewed.

You are likely not seeing the prompt to reconcile at any stage of reviewing documents because they are not being filed as the Type Lab. If you being to use the Type Lab, and then enable Sub-Types to properly categorize the document you are filing/reviewing this should help the reconciliation process and prompt you for reconciliation.

Next, the pop-up for reconciliation only happens when Review is pressed. So if an admin staff member is sending a Document to the Provider to review, they are not reviewing it so the pop-up is not present. IF the admin staff member used File Document as opposed to Send to Provider AND the Type was Lab they would receive the pop-up for reconciliation.

The above workflow only works though if the Provider does not need to actually Review the lab.

I think what this idea is asking for is two fold:

    1. Be able to choose the Types of Documents that prompt for reconciliation (not just Lab)

    2. Prompt for reconciliation when using Send to Provider in addition to when Review is pressed
