For large practices on a shared database, when sending internal documentation to internal providers for review, they need to be sent to the providers Tasks (or Mail) Inbox. This adds some confusion to the review process as external documents come in as Documents or Labs and internal items are now a different process and causing clutter in the Tasks inbox.
There should be an option to "Send as Document" which would convert the Encounter Note or Form to a document styled view allowing the item to be reviewed from the Documents window.
This would reduce clicking as Task attachments have to be opened in a separate window and allow for a streamlined review ALL documentation (internal and external in the same manner).
