As Andrew explained above, a macro can be used to quickly add information to an encounter note, including medical history like Active Prescriptions.
Accuro Menu > Search: Template Wizard > Macros tab > + > Give your macro a short, easy to remember name > In the body of your macro, right-click > From the menu choose Medical History, then Active Medications > <Save Changes>
When you're in the body of your template you can type the name of you the macro, then CTRL+Enter to make it populate, OR you can right-click and choose Find Macro from the menu to select it as well.
Alternatively there are options to pre-populate your templates with these tags, so that the information loads automatically when a clinical note is created on a chart.
If you would like assistance with these workflows, please call the service desk at 1-866-729-8889; a Client Services Analyst would be happy to help you.
There is a macro you can add to your note that automatically inserts any changes to the CPP on that date of service. In our clinic, we created a macro called "Today" which triggers the <MHXDOS> tag. We insert this macro on every clinical template. Once you have completed all of your documentation for the visit, you activate the macro by pressing CTRL + ENTER (with your cursor at the end of the word Today) and it will add all of the day's CPP items to the note, including prescriptions.
