anchor time/date to either top or bottom , and NOT dependent on bottom docking of demographics

Right now you have it set up so that if you want to have the date and time displayed, you have to bottom dock your demographics. This is silly. I would like to have the ability to display the date and time regardless of where I dock my demographics. It is also  little more difficult to have the demographics at the bottom of the screen, this is not naturally where the eye falls. Even if the date and time could be a "display or no" and just follow the demographics, that would solve this problem. Thanks.
