"uncancel" appointments

Sometimes a patient seems to no show or you get a message after the fact and the cancel reason needs to be changed, or you cancel the wrong apt - would like the admins to have the ability to either "uncancel" or at least change the cancel reason.  Currently I have to call the help desk to do this.

We really pay attention to this as it sets up a record for us when patients cancel multiple times.

    Admin response

Any System Administrator can undo a cancelled appointment through the Audit Logs.

When logged into Accuro as a System Admin, in the Accuro Menu under Users > Manage Security > Audit Logs > Search for the "Cancelled Appointment" activity.

Once you've found the appointment that should not have been cancelled, right click on that activity from the Audit Logs and choose 'Restore'.

This action restores the cancelled appointment to make any changes as necessary.

I am asking for this feature to be part of the admin features, not just system administrator. Only our docs are system administrators and sometimes there are not in the office and this seems more like an admin function rather than a physician function.

Not everyone has system administrator priveleges.  Just our docs do and certainly don't have time to perform this function for us.
