LAB INBOX - Filter or Reorder Cohorts of Patients by Patient Status or Flags

A user-specified column within the Lab Inbox window would allow specific status or groups of patients to be reviewed together.

 

Example:  In a nephrology practice, patients fit into several categories - Office patients, Kidney Care Clinic patients, Hemodialysis patients, Peritoneal Dialysis patients, Post-transplant patients, etc.  

 

The ability to list the patients (within the large volume of daily labs coming into inbox) to be able to review groups of labs together would generate increased efficiency. 

 

In addition, given that uploading lab inbox is one of the most data intensive activities of the software, that slows the end user's workflow significantly, the ability to load up cohorts of patients to review labs would enable more efficient uploads as only some patients are uploaded at a time.
