Pharmacies so they don't keep refilling blister packs
You can discontinue any prescription in Accuro and send this to the pharmacy with the following steps:
1. In the EMR of the Patient that you need to discontinue a prescription on, click into the Medications tab
2. Right click on the Prescription(s) you wish to discontinue and hover over 'Change Status'. Then click onto "Discontinue Prescription"
3. Fill in the details in the Prescription Status window that opens with a reason why it is being discontinued, and any additional notes. Then check the box "Include in Generated Prescription"
4. Press OK to generate the prescription preview with your discontinuation request and you can print or send to the Pharmacy as required.
