Virtual Chart movement - please stop!

When going through items in the virtual chart, certain items with more text in one area will expand if clicked and shift the view. I notice this happens with the first click, so that if I double click (without having highlighted the item first) the shift may mean the double click happens on a different item, and thus the wrong item is opened. This is very annoying. I think hover would make more sense to display any hidden text, but that the size or position of the items should never change, even when clicked.

    Before clicking on any Virtual Chart item, you can hover over the note to view a tool tip of the entire message. This will prevent the item from expanding if the note is larger than what is currently displayed.

    Also, there is a user preference (Accuro Menu > File > User Preferences > Display > EMR Workflow) "Expand Virtual Chart Table on Selection Only". It is the first one in the list on the EMR Workflow tab. When not selected, this will stop the chart items from expanding and moving the other items when selecting it.

    Thank you, that is helpful. I have made this change.

    I think it would still be nice to have an option where it is collapsed, but then does not expand when clicked and the extra info is only seen either when hovering or when the item is actually opened.

    This has bothered me forever! I never put much thought into why it was clicking open the wrong document just knew it happened a lot and find it very frustrating!!
