I would like to see the age of the patient displayed in years and months format.

It would be helpful for charting the growth curve for children in offices that see children.

I am aware of the option for patients under age 18, but thats not what we need for older children.

Hopefully you can help us have that option available for older children so we can see the age in years and months.

    Thank you.

There is an option to show the age in only months for patients under the age of 18. Though this isn't quite what you are asking for with years and months, but may help.

In your user preferences (Accuro Menu > File > User Preferences > Display > Display) in the Demographics Status Bar, you can edit the tags that are populating this information. Find the tag currently pulling the patient age, delete it, and right click to see the alternate tag options. You can add:

    Patient age, no units

Patient age with units (ie. Years)

Patient age in months - only displays for patients under 18, otherwise displays in years.
