Add pt obstetrical due date to pt demographic view along with address / file / phone etc.

All obs and office admin, easily view pt EDD (or how many weeks along a pt is) in the right hand pt demographic section of screen.

    It is possible in Ontario to add the Gestational Age as well as the Estimated Date of Birth to the Demographics Status bar so that it is visible at all times.

    First, you must have the Antenatal module enabled (Ontario only).

    Then, in the EMR go to the Antenatal tab. Create a pregnancy for the patient through the dropdown in the upper left.

    On the Initial tab of the pregnancy you can enter:

    • LMP/cycle length

    OR

    • US date/GA at Ultrasound

    These calculate the respective EDB fields. Then, click the blue arrow next to the desired field to enter the Final EDB. Or, simply enter a Final EDB into the date field.

    Next, each user must go to the Accuro Menu (ALT) > File > User Preferences > Display > Display > and in the Demographics Status Bar, you can right click to add the desired tags for GA or EDB.
