Currently the search functionality is too exact, and providers have trouble finding the codes they are looking for. It needs to be more dynamic.
e.g. searching for "vision low" currently returns 0 results, where "low vision" returns 4.
At one time ICD9 code descriptions were customizable, however they are not now.
Have your own favourites name for dx’es And macros should be at the top.
It is worth noting that the wildcard search can be employed to search for multiple words, but as with the example above, not in a dynamic way. Please see the examples attached.
