OHIP accepts billings with expired health cards but the Accuro system won't let the submissions leave the unsubmitted claims area. When submitted with NO DATE, the claims return unpaid with the EH2 mismatched version code. The temporary K087, K088, K089 codes help us get paid for the moment but it does not resolve the issue that was there pre-COVID. Also, the temporary KO87, K088 and K089 codes cannot be submitted for in person visits for patients that have an expired health card. How are we able to submit these claims if they won't even leave the Accuro system to be submitted to OHIP?
